TRAIN, COMPETE, DOMINATE:
Our
guiding philosophy at Absolute
Fitness & Sports Performance is
that physical and athletic
development is a long term
process. In much the same way
that you can not take a third
grader who is learning math put
them through a six week program
and expect them to be able to do
calculus at the end of it; you
can not take a youth athlete
through a short term program and
expect them to emerge with
professional level physical
abilities.
With that in mind we developed
our TRAIN COMPETE DOMINATE
approach which is defined as
follows:
TRAIN: Consistent
participation in scientifically
designed age appropriate goal
oriented training programs.
Following specific protocols for
the development of maximum multi
directional movement ability,
optimal strength, joint
stability, joint mobility,
balance, coordination, and
power.
COMPETE: By following our
training principles our athletes
will be able to focus their
energies at team practices on
development of the sport
specific actions needed to excel
at their sport and the positions
they play. They will learn to
master those skills quicker than
their team mates and opponents.
They will also become proficient
at those skills to a higher
degree based on the
physiological adaptations that
occur through their regular
participation in our programs.
DOMINATE:
As our athletes master the
skills of multi directional
movement and
age appropriate strength
development they will discover
that they
have the ability to stand out at
practice. They will get more
game time and have
fewer injuries. Their coaches
will look at them at stars on
their team. All of which will
help them to enjoy their sports
experience more.
We pride ourselves on not only
helping athletes flourish but on
having a fun place they can go
to train and learn with their
peers. Our goal is for all
participants to have a positive
experience developing not only
their physical abilities but
also greatly increasing their
self confidence and mental
outlook.
