JEFF MILLER – OWNER/HEAD PERFORMANCE COACH
B.S. Fitness Mgmt, Southern Oregon U
ACSM Certified Health/Fitness Specialist
IYCA Certified Youth Speed & Agility Specialist
I am very blessed to be able to do what I love as a profession. For the past 20 years I have worked with athletes both youth and adult on strength development, sports performance improvement, and over all conditioning. When it comes to youth athletes I consider it such a privilege to be able to help them develop properly and to watch them excel as both athletes and contributing members in society. I am really excited about having Absolute Fitness & Sports Performance located in the Edmonds/Lynnwood area and I feel strongly that we will have a great impact on the quality of athletes and competitive sports that come out of our area.
On a personal note, I have an amazing wife, two sons and two daughters (the youngest being a 1 year old girl) and a 130lb Mastiff. I have proudly called the Edmonds area home since 1995 with no plans of relocating elsewhere. I enjoy skiing, golfing, sports, and of course working out. I appreciate all the
relationships I have developed with athletes, coaches, and parents, over the years and look
forward to continuing those and building new ones.
CRAIG LANE – SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINER
B.S. Exercise Science, Boise State University
USAW Certified Sports Performance Coach
USAW Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist
I was born and raised in Boise, ID and grew up playing sports as much as I could. I found my passion for athletics through my step-father who has worked on the Boise State University football staff for nearly two decades now. I knew I wanted to work with athletes and found sports performance training to be the perfect fit for my desires.
After high school and a mission in New York I attended BYU-Idaho where I met my wife. While there I took and exercise physiology course. That fueled my desire to learn more about human performance and physiology. After getting married (here in Seattle) my wife and I transferred to Boise State University where I interned for three years in strength and conditioning working primarily with basketball, volleyball, and soccer. I graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Fitness Evaluation and Programming. I have continued my education and will be receiving my M.S. in Athletic Performance and Injury Prevention in January 2016. I am always seeking to advance my knowledge and skill and as such have become certified as a Sports Performance Coach (USAW) and a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).
As mentioned, I have a wife of 7 wonderful years now. We have three boys, Keegan (6), Connor (3) and, our newest little one, Cooper, was born 4 days after I started at Absolute Fitness and Sports Performance. We are loving this area and getting out together as a family to see all the sights western Washington has to offer.
