2019… Your greatest year ever!

Forget New Years Resolutions! Make a plan for success. Be realistic. Be specific. Whether your an adult wanting to get in shape or a youth athlete wanting to excel the concept is the same.

First, identify your goals. Be specific. Is your kid a soccer player and needs to get faster running in a straight line? Are you trying to get in shape to get rid of back pain or wanting to lose 30lbs? The more specific you are the better you can plan for success.

Second, define the steps needed to accomplish your goals. Be as detailed as possible including amount of time, where, who, and what will help you accomplish your goals. 

Finally, acknowledge the obstacles. Whether it’s a schedule challenge, financial issue, or a person related issue. Without acknowledging the obstacles you will fail, but by identify them you can then refer back to step two and make a plan to overcome your challenges.

Make this the best year you’ve ever had. Accomplish your goals no matter what they are. No more regrets at the end of a year. Let 2019 be the year you celebrate your success at years end.
