Summer is coming and it’s not too late to shed those winter pounds and be feeling good this summer. It is getting close though depending on how far you have to go. Winters in the northwest are both a blessing and a curse, but I think more the latter. During winter we all bundle up in our warm clothes and it’s easy to hide any weight gains.
The challenge is that a lot of us gain the weight, hide it under our warm winter clothes and get used to the new weight. Then suddenly and seemingly over night summer is here and there is no where to hide. At that point it’s too late.
Don’t let it come to that. Start now; look at your exercise or lack there of and your nutrition. What changes can you make? A couple suggestions include getting your workouts on a schedule. If you haven’t been working out or have been inconsistent it can be helpful to schedule it on your phone with a reminder alert. And when it comes to nutrition keep it simple. Look at how you are eating now and decide what changes you will make. Remember the enemy is sugar. So focus on cutting sugar out of your diet.
I hope these simple but proven tips help you get on track to being the fittest version of yourself this summer.
